 |
| Here's what some former host families had to say about their AFS experience: |

| "We experienced a deep and emotional relationship with Marcos and an understanding of his culture and his experience of adapting to a new culture. We learned a lot about his country and realized we are not that different." --U.S. host family of an Chilean Student |
| Perhaps you know a young person who is considering a study abroad program. AFS offers both high school and gap-year opportunities, with more than 140 different year, semester and summer programs in over 40 countries. |

Exchange student returns to Tiffin, Ohio 40 years after graduation
When Villay Chaleunrath returned to Tiffin 20 years ago for his 20th class reunion, he intended to make a surprise visit to see David Noss. But Noss was gone, helping his son, Rick, move to Columbus. Chaleunrath and Chanhmaly, his wife of about 10 years, arrived in Tiffin around 8 p.m. Friday in advance of Chaleunrath’s 40th class reunion Saturday evening. Read more. |
