How can I find an AFS Returnee with whom I have lost contact?
AFS-USA cannot give addresses, phone numbers, or emails of individuals without their specific permission, for reasons of privacy. However, if you get in touch with the Office of Returnee Relations by email Lynne Zurcher, Manager of Returnee Relations or phone 1-800-876-2376, ext. 1114, they will contact the person for whom you are searching and inform them that you wish to contact them.
How can I reconnect with my host family?
Again, contact the Office of Returnee Relations as above; they will contact the host country’s AFS office to see what information might be available.
I want to get involved with AFS-USA as a volunteer—how do I do that?
